Nancy Wilson and Maisie Richardson
Nancy Wilson (jazz singer) was born to Olden Wilson who was the Chillicothe ironworker on 20 February 1937. She was the daughter of Lillian Ryan worked as a household servant. Nancy Wilson was youngest child of six. Nancy was heavily influenced in her early years by the music her father played and loved at her home. At the age of four, Nancy was aware that she would like to become a musician. She developed her musical talent through participating in choirs of the church. Following her win in a talent show on television around the age of 15, she started to appear regularly on Skyline Melodies, while still in high school. The same year, Nancy began to perform in nightclubs. Nancy, then 17, graduated from high-school and matriculated in Ohio Central State College (now Central State University) for a year before quitting to sing. Her first record was recorded in 1956 by the Rusty Bryant's Carolyn Club Big Band. The band performed with her throughout 1956 and 1957. Nancy started recording with Dot Records in 1956, when she was part of the band. Cannonball Adderley urged her to travel to New York in order to improve her career. The city she went to was The Big Town, New York in the year 1959. Within one month, she got a gig singing in The Blue Morocco Night Club on Boston Road in The Bronx the place where her agent heard her, and she was signed. In 1960, he enlisted her to Capitol Records and in that same year she issued her debut single. Guess who I saw this morning. Capitol issued five Nancy Wilson records in just two years. Her first album was focused on R&B however, under Adderley's influence, she started to take on jazz. Nancy Wilson and Cannonball Adderley's collaboration in 1962 helped to make her a star as well as her hit Tell Me the Truth was released in 1963. This brought her a gig at the New York's Coconut Grove the premier night club in America the following year and she quickly became a legend.
Maisie Richardson-Sellers is an British TV and film actress. She was best known for her performance as Chloe Winthrop on Netflix's The Kissing Booth. In the ABC Biblical Series Of Kings and Prophets in which she was King Saul's daughter Michal. The actress has appeared in numerous famous TV shows, including The Originals and Legends of Tomorrow. In the year 2015, she appeared as in the role of Korr Sella on the TV show Short Wars: Force Awakening. Later she starred in the Netflix Original film The Kissing Booth Season 2 and 3, as Chloe Winthrop.
